RICSNTA is proud to report that Linda Mendonca had a successful trip to Washington DC along with Amy Dark.  Linda was a part of a roundtable discussion with Healthcare Leaders.  Linda is quoted as saying "We believe that to achieve health equity, every student should have access to a school nurse."

Thank you Linda for working tirelessly, advocating for all of our students and the school nurses of Rhode Island!

As RICSNTA President, I have always admired the School Nurse Leadership team that has mentored me over the years. What a thrill it has been to have been at the NASN National Conference in Atlanta last spring and to see Linda representing not just RI, but all school nurses on a national stage. This is one more example of her continued effort to achieve health equity for every student!

Thank you Linda for all you do for me and for RICSNTA!

Linda, your relentless advocacy for safe school health staffing ratios and funding to equip school nurses with the tools they need to be successful, such as electronic health records, will ensure that all students receive the medical and social-emotional care they need.
