Seeking one teacher nominee from each Rhode Island High School to become their school's "CPR Champion"

Posted over 2 years ago by Emilie Cunningham-Joost

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is not only an incredible life-saving skill, but a necessity for many jobs. A group of dedicated pediatric physicians is seeking one teacher nominee from each Rhode Island High School to become their school's "CPR Champion"- to become certified as a CPR instructor able to certify others including high school students in their health classes or health careers pathways. Training consists of an online component and a FREE half-day event (August 27th or September 2nd), sponsored by the American Academy of Pediatrics and Hasbro Children's Hospital. To sign-up to represent your school, please fill out the form here. We are looking forward to meeting educators like YOU who are just as invested in the health and education of Rhode Island students as we are! Please contact Dr. Schmidt (carlydru@gmail.com) with any questions.
