Education Operations Center LEA Assistance Teams Health ans safety Training

Good Afternoon Nurses,
The Education Operations Center LEA Assistance Teams would like to offer health and safety training to school nurses on best practices to include PPE don/doff, workspace, sanitation processes, cloth mask laundering, and coming home from community exposure best practices. We'd like to run through scenarios to help plan for situations that may arise in schools. There will also be a Q&A session to express concerns or pressing questions on health and safety.
Our LEA Assistance Teams consist of RN's who have been working throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in hospitals and communities. They can provide guidance on current health policy and best practices in various areas related to a safe return to school.
We will offer meetings this week on Wednesday, September 16 at 5:00pm and on Friday, September 18 at 3:00pm. If interested, please sign up on the link below. LEA leaders will have to catalog this training so participants can receive PLUs, if applicable.
