A Note from NASN-Asking for support for school health

Hello RI Nurses,
We are asking that you contact your US Senator and ask for support for school health. Specifically, we are asking you to take this letter and ask you US Senator for their support for robust federal funding with maximum flexibility for school districts and schools to prioritize the health and safety of their students and staff when resuming in-person and virtual learning for the new school year. We are hearing that the Senate will act on a new COVID/stimulus package this week.
Please feel free to share widely with your networks as well as to modify and make this letter your own by adding your own state statistics or telling your own personal story. Thank you for all that you do every day to keep children safe, healthy, and ready to learn!
