Annual May Banquet...postponed due to COVID-19

Message from President-elect, 

For many years, RICSNTA has hosted an Annual May Banquet to celebrate National School Nurse Day
and recognize the RI Certified School Nurse Teacher of the Year. In addition, Elizabeth Robinette's
scholarship is awarded and retirees of the current school year are congratulated and thanked for their
years of service. Board officers and committee members are recognized and thanked for their
contribution to RICNSTA.

This year, there is a change from past practice. Because of the COVID 19 pandemic and the governor’s
current restrictions in RI, the May Banquet could not take place as planned. Please be reassured that as
we move forward and begin to relax social distancing directives, we are hopeful we will be able to
reschedule this fun and celebratory event in the future, perhaps in the fall.
More information will be forthcoming as it becomes available.
